To appear for the Engineering Services Examination 2011, a candidate should have completed any Engineering degree or M.Sc. in Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering from any one of the recognized Universities in India.

To appear for the Engineering Services Examination 2011 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, a candidate should have completed 21 years of age as on 01/08/2011 and should not have completed 30 years of age.
