Union Bank of India whose Headquarters is at Mumbai, India is one of the leading Public Sector Banks of India. This Bank has announced recruitment of around 1165 Probationary Officers in various fields through a job notification.
Age Limit: To apply for the Probationary Officer post of Union Bank of India, a candidate should be 21 years as on 31/10/2010 and should not be more than 30 years of age. Subject to the Government's instructions the maximum age relaxation and reservation are available for S.C. / S.T. / O.B.C. category of candidates. Educational Qualification: To apply for the Probationary Officer post of Union Bank of India, a candidate should have completed a Graduation with minimum of 55% marks from any one of the accredited Universities in India. S.C. / S.T. Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in the graduation. In addition to this, the candidate should have got basic qualification like diploma in Computer Education.
Examination Pattern: The selection for the post of Probationary Officer in Union Bank of India will be done through Written Examination and Interview. The Written Examination will be of Objective Type and will contain questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of quantitative aptitude and General Awareness & Test of Computer knowledge.
The Interview will be conducted only to the qualified candidates from the Written Examination. The Written Examination is scheduled to be held on 9/1/2011. The Written Examination Centers in Southern India will be Chennai in Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru in Karnataka and Ernakulam in Kerala.
How to apply: To apply for the post of Probationary Officer in Union Bank of India, a candidate needs to pay an Examination Fee of Rs.300/-. This fee should be remitted in a particular challan only in the branches of Union Bank of India. There is no other alternate method for the payment of Examination Fee for this examination. The challan for payment of Examination Fee can be downloaded from the Official Website of Union Bank of India. There is no Examination Fee for S.C. / S.T. candidates.
A candidate needs to keep the portion of the paid challan and should furnish the Fee payment particulars while applying Online for the Probationary Officer post in Union Bank of India. After applying Online for this examination, a candidate needs to take at least 2 print outs of the acknowledgement. One of the same should contain your Passport size Photo affixed before the examination.
This printout will only be called for when a candidate qualifies for the Interview. Since you are applying through Online for this examination, the e-mail verification, call letter for the written examination, call letter for Interview [if the candidate qualify] etc. will only be sent through e-mail mode.
